In 2001 January, we have celebrated 60 Years of Balanandam in Ravindra Bharathi with lot of fanfare. Many ex and present members have enthusiastically attended the function. The highlight was a song written by Dr.M. Padmini Devi, depicting the 60 years of Balanandam. It was melodiously set to music by Sri.M. Chittaranjan, a renowned Light music expert. It was sung by the member’s ages ranging from 7 to 70yrs. Many dedicated members were honoured on that occasion.
